You should always use a spacer whenever you self-administer or assist someone else with their respiratory puffer medication. The spacer allows the patient to take their time when they inhale the medication, permitting the mist to reach all lobes of the lungs for maximum effect.
Secure the inhaler in the end, pump the prescribed amount of medication into the spacer, place the mask firmly over your face and inhale slowly and deeply until all the medication has been absorbed.
Our spacer and masks are available in two different sizes: adult and child.
Adult: Respiratory Holding Chamber with Adult #1 Mask.
Child: Respiratory Holding Chamber with Child or Small Adult #2 Mask.
